Once potential customers have clicked on your listing, they’ll want to know more about your product. This is where your product description comes in on your screen. So, again, use keywords throughout your description to help people find your Amazon listing. 

But unlike your title, you can (and should) go into more details here. Describe your product’s features and benefits, and highlight the features why it is the best possible option on Amazon. Use professional-looking photos that show your product in use, if possible. Make sure each image is clear and properly cropped – you don’t want potential customers to be distracted by a fuzzy photo or one that cuts off part of the product.

  • Use a plain background. A white or neutral background will help make your product the focus subject.
  • Get a close-up. Showing close-up shots of your product will give potential customers a better idea of its looks and how it works.
  • Use multiple angles. People want to see your product from all sides, so include photos that show it from different angles.

You’ll also be asked to provide a list of keywords that describe your product. Again, accuracy is key here – choose words and phrases that people are likely to search for in their buying journey.

It’s also an alternative way to compete with other businesses that sell the same products as yours. If you can’t lower your price to stay competitive, you can offer these perks to entice shoppers to choose your products instead of others.

Remember that great customer service can go a long way in creating a standout Amazon listing. Respond quickly to any questions or concerns potential customers have about your product. And if there are any problems with an order, do whatever you can to make it right.

If you have any customer reviews, be sure to showcase them prominently on your Amazon listing. Positive reviews can be an avenue for your legitimacy in the e-Commerce world. Potential customers are more likely to purchase a product that has good reviews that could assure them of proven quality.

This paid advertising service lets you place your product listing on the first page of search results, giving you a major advantage over your competition. Though there might be some costs to pay, this method will give you a higher assurance that your listing will be shown on your customers’ screens. 

10. Keep your listing up-to-date

Finally, it’s important to keep your listing up-to-date with any changes or new information. If you make any changes to your product, update your Amazon listing accordingly. And if you receive any new customer reviews, be sure to add them to your listing. Keeping your listing accurate and up-to-date will ensure that potential customers always have the most accurate information about your product.
