Recently, Amazon has distributed a circular among its Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) members, informing them of a two-week-long cancellation of storage fees for FBA merchants for March 2020. The e-commerce leader announced the decision in light of the prevailing economic circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Expert Amazon SEO consultants are all aware about these fees for FBA Merchants.
The waiver applies to inventories in selected countries, namely; the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Canada. It covers both standard-size and oversized products.
The exemption is in addition to the company's waiving off of the April 15 long-term storage fees. According to Amazon, the waiver, which it has accounted for in the number of each seller's fees, will be reflected from the second half of March. The storage fees for the latter are processed between April 7-15.
To verify their monthly storage fees, sellers can check the Transaction View of their Payments report.
Both waivers stemmed from Amazon's current focus on prioritizing highly in-demand goods such as medical supplies and household necessities.
